Nils Hohmuth completed his studies in human medicine at the University of Heidelberg. He wrote his master's thesis on the development status of electronic health records in the leading countries in this field in Europe.
In his role as Medical Advisor at Data4Life, he is overseeing a COVID-19 study for vaccinated and non-vaccinated adults that he helped design, called the "eCOV study." The study is specifically designed to gain insights into the effectiveness of Corona vaccines in everyday life. Nils believes that digital studies can help us better understand human-induced changes in our ecosystems (including global warming, biodiversity loss) and their impact on human health (including zoonotic diseases such as SARS-COV-2). In this way, he hopes to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable world in the long term through research in the field of "Planetary Health".
